It's almost time for the annual fundraiser I host to raise money in the Fight Against Breast Cancer. This year's event is called Cancer Sucks! and will be at the Wine Studio in Gig Harbor. There will be a Silent auction as well as prizes for the Most Supportive Costume and of course wine and beer too.
There are so many affected by cancer in general but Breast and Prostrate cancers are the one's I seem to focus on. There are a few in my family who have gone and are going through their own battles and it's always nice to show support in a way other than prayer. This year's proceeds will be split between two strong ladies in my life and the organization Save the Tatas, at the request of one of my donators, which funds cancer research, awareness, education and community service through their partnership with the Concern Foundation.
So come on down to the Wine Studio on October 30th with your "breast" friends and lets raise some money while having a whole lot of fun.
