I'm really excited to be hosting two nights of fun in February to celebrate my Tenth Year of selling PartyLite! Friday the 21st I'll be celebrating in Tacoma, and then the next night, The Wine Studio in Gig Harbor is letting me take over their space!
I would never have imagined that when I entered the door to my first party, hosted by my then-boyfriends cousin, that I was literally walking through the door to the next chapter in my life. This business has seen me through changing careers, relationships, and even vehicles! It's also seen a yearly change in home décor- after all, I love discounts, and I've never paid anything full price since I became a consultant :-)
Now it's time for me to give back, to all the hosts and guests who have become my friends. I laugh because I always feel so honored to be invited into someone's home, and when they act like they are honored to have me there... well its just a really nice feeling to be invited to become a part of their life after the party.
So now I have the task of going through all my back stock of decorations and wax and packaging all that up to be given away. Yes, I said it! I'll be giving away so much great stuff and that makes it all the more fun to be going through it. Of course there will be purchasing opportunities at my parties too, but everyone in attendance will be able to earn Celebration $$$s that they can use to buy giveaway goodies.
I love doing events like this and even though there is a lot of work that goes into it, it's always worth it when I hear an attendee comment, "Thanks for inviting me, it was so much fun!"
